Thank you for your participation in the evaluation of NSERC’s Discovery Grant applications.

The valuable contribution of time and effort by you and your colleagues is a vote of confidence in the quality assurance process we have in place to evaluate applications. Your crucial investment lets us deliver funds to those who most deserve them.

This year, we are also pleased to see a vote of confidence from the Federal Government in Budget 2018, the single largest investment in fundamental research in Canadian history.

The research community was extensively engaged in the pre-budget consultation process and I would like to thank all those who participated.
