NSERC is pleased to announce upcoming changes to the Connect Grants program, taking effect on February 1. The scope of eligible activities has been expanded to ensure the program has flexibility to support a broader range of activities and respond to the needs of the research community. The grants have also been streamlined to be more user-friendly.
Connect Grants aim to support activities that advance NSERC’s Research Partnerships and/or one or more of the goals of the NSERC 2020 Strategic Plan, which includes the promotion of approaches that increase the inclusion and advancement of women and other under-represented groups in the natural sciences and engineering.
Please note that changes have been made to the Connect Grants application form. A checklist is also available to assist you in the application process.
More information regarding the changes to the Connect Grants can be found on the updated webpage. Please contact your NSERC Regional Office to discuss your application prior to applying.
